About
Qiang Fu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of British Columbia and the Co-Director of the Centre for Chinese Research at UBC. His current research focuses on everyday experience and daily encounters in the city, institutional logics and power relations from a comparative perspective, and temporal and spatial analysis in social science research. Qiang uses a multidisciplinary approach to sentiments and identity, stratification, health, and juvenile delinquency, and works on developing new models, algorithms, and tools in survey methodology.
